Components view

The Components view allows you to define the component table for each EOS region. The master table for the component view is the EOS Region table, where you may add and delete EOS regions as necessary. Fields in the EOS Region master table are:

Active  Checkbox which determines whether EOS region is active.  Inactive regions are not written to the deck.

Name  Name of the EOS region.

Region ID  Number of the EOS region. This is 1 based index defining the order of the EOS region in the generated deck.

EOS  Equation of State: Either PR (Peng-Robinson), RK (Redlich-Kwong), SRK (Soave-Redlich-Kwong), or ZJ (Zudkevitch-Joffe-Redlich-Kwong).

BIC  Binary interaction coefficients.

The table on the components tab defines parameters for each component in the EOS region.

CNAMES  Name of component.

TCRIT  Critical temperature of component.

PCRIT  Critical pressure of component.

VCRIT  Critical volume of component.

ZCRIT  Critical Z factor of component.

VCRITVIS  Critical volume factor for viscosity calculations. Optional.

SSHIFT  Volume shift parameters for component.

ACF  Acentric factor for component.

MW  Molecular weight for component.

TBOIL  Boiling point temperature for component.

TREF  Reference temperature at which component reference density is measured.

DREF  Reference density.

PARACHOR  Parachor factors for component.

ZCRITVIS  Critical Z factor for viscosity calculations. Optional.
